BOULDER, CO -- (Marketwire) -- 05/24/12 -- Red Earth Software, developer of email security software for Exchange Server, today announced the release of Policy Patrol version 8. Policy Patrol 8 includes improved anti-spam and anti-virus, as well as new email signature features that allow companies to more easily add social media email signatures. Policy Patrol 8 also enables companies to run several email banner campaigns at the same time, automatically rotating the email footer that is added to each email.

In addition to pulling contact information from Active Directory, Policy Patrol 8 for Exchange now allows you to include images and links from Active Directory to automatically personalize each email signature. This means that companies can include images and embedded links that are personalized for each sender, such as photos, scanned signatures, LinkedIn profiles and bio links.

Policy Patrol 8 also includes a number of new anti-spam features, including individual black lists and white lists, the ability to change the order of spam checking, and the possibility of using DNS white lists. Anti-virus categories have been added to ease configuration, and it is now possible to share a Policy Patrol configuration across multiple servers, allowing you to replicate changes across all installations.
