Demonstrate Integration Between Arbortext Epic Editor and Documentum’s XML Management Capabilities

PLEASANTON, Calif., May 6 / — Documentum (NASDAQ:DCTM) today announced that it will showcase its industry-leading ECM platform, Documentum 5, at the Arbortext Users’ Group International (AUGI) conference, May 7-9 in San Antonio, Texas. The Documentum 5 platform automates the management of all content types, including XML, web content and rich media.

At AUGI, Documentum will demonstrate the intelligent management technologies in Documentum 5 that span native XML management from creation through delivery and archival. Documentum 5 integrates with Arbortext Epic Editor to parse XML into reusable, managed elements and transforms the management of XML for multi-channel delivery output. Documentum will also demonstrate how its Media Services solution imports and renders any linked media into alternate renditions such as thumbnails and low-resolution. Una Kearns, Documentum’s XML architect, will participate on two panel sessions: «Content Management System Review for Developers» and «Content Management System Review for Managers,» both on Thursday, May 8.

The annual Arbortext User Group International Conference (AUGI) supports all levels of Arbortext customers by offering 44 unique sessions, practical pre-conference tutorials and great networking opportunities. Attendees will hear about upcoming product releases and see demos of new and upcoming technologies.
